MRT for You and Me!
16 JUL 07

I like to ride the MRT because it is hassle-free. It beats riding the bus because buses can be stuck in traffic jams while MRT have their own track. Buses can be unpredictable while MRT are on time, everytime... well, almost. It also beats riding a motorbike because I ride in air-conditioned comfort and I don't have to worry about maintainece and changing engine oil and all that stuff. And it's preety safe too. However, alot of people think otherwise. Traffic jams are getting worse and worse and yesterday I saw the news saying that road accidents are at all time high.

I have some creative suggestions on how to attract more Singaporeans to ride the MRT :D

The SMRT must buy a better looking, cooler model instead on the box, grey model we have now. Design is everything.

Instead of just stopping at a destination, the MRT should detach itself so that it can go further into the neighbourhoods.

Change those uncomfortable plastic seats to those expensive massage chairs thingies complete with MRT stewardess with a skimpy uniform.

Hire pole dancers to entertain commuters.

Instead of just going from point A to point B, The SMRT can make the trip more thrilling by making minor adjustments to its tracks.

For those really on the go, MRT EXPRESS should be introduced.

The SMRT should extend their train tracks to other countries.
To improve productivity, SMRT should install blades at the door to deter commuters from boarding and alighting at the last minute.
