And just a reminder for those people who've traveled to affected countries, please quarantine yourselves at home for 7 days. Only come back to school after the 7 days and if you're not having any flu-like symptoms.

Hello people. Beatrice here. Long time no post, yea. Anw, just wanted to let you guys be aware of what to bring on the first day of Term 3 and all the changes made to the programmes in the remaining days.

Councillor camp, has been postponed till further notice. So please do not come to sch tmr for councillor camp.

String farewell party and everything tmr has been cancelled due to the whole H1N1 thing, so please do not come for the party tmr, kay.

All 1A students please remember to bring your thermometers everyday from next Monday onwards because we need to take our temperatures due to the serious H1N1 disease going on. Please don't forget! (:

Yup, that's about all. Btw, hope you guys had fun in the DNA thing today. Haha. I had fun! Oh, and please complete all the remaining hw you have by next Mon okay, book reviews are only due at the end of Term 3 Week 1 so hurry and complete your books soon. And do take note that "Sing to the Dawn" and "Saffy's Angel" cannot be used as any of the two books for book review. (:

Remember to file your Chinese and Science files too cause Ms Kim is checking and Ms Leow will be collecting our files to check as well.

And our online assignments, please check the Ncelz page for your assignments, and also your ace-learning quiz. The ace-learning is due only on 1 July, so please complete it by then. For History online assignment, you can choose whether or not to print the questions out, but please attempt the questions on NCHS foolscap paper. (:

There is sectional practise next Tuesday, which is 16 June. From 1 - 4. Please be punctual. I'm not sure where the venue is, but just come to school on time. I'll update you guys soon when I know where the venue is. Most probably music room. (:

Okay. I hope you guys are coping well with your holiday homework. The second week of our holidays is coming to an end already. So better start bucking up for those of you who haven't done much homework, like me. lol.

Btw, there are a few assignments to be done on Ncelz, like EL, Science and Geography. History as well. Please don't forget to complete them by the end of the holiday.

Councillor camp is from 25 - 27 June (Last week of June hols). There was a checklist given, so please refer to it and pack your bags as the day draws near. Also remember to sign your forms and bring it on 25 June. For those who ordered the councillor photos and have not paid up, please bring the money on 25 June. Each picture costs $4.


Class Chalet

We are organising another class chalet from 16 - 18 June, since there are no CCAs or activities in school in that week (3rd week).

Place: Costa Sands Resort, Pasir Ris
Price: $320 (Food excluded)
Time: 16 - 18 June (Overnight)

If we add in the grills, food, meat or whichever, it's estimated to be about $400 in total, the change will be divided and given back to people who paid (If there is even any change, don't worry, we won't eat up your money). So.. if about 20 people go, it's about $20 per person. Please reply before 10th June 2009, whether you would be coming at all. Please be informed that you would have to pay $20 regardless whether how many days you will be staying, since it's hard to calculate if everyone stays at a different amount of days. The price is not fixed as it's not confirmed who wants to go. If very little people wants to go or the cost paid by each person is more than $30, there would be no chalet.


Class T-Shirt

The price of class tee has NOT been confirmed. Joey has asked the supplier, and the lowest price she could fetch was $14. However, Soo Peng heard from her senior that their class tee was only $11, so now their trying to find out who the supplier is, so that we can order from them. So please be patient while we settle the price.

As for the design of the class tee, Joey alr has a plan. We're not able to show you the design over the computer, unless any of the admins have a scanner, I don't. lol. Yea. But on the front, "A.C.O.A" will be printed. At the back, our register numbers and names will be printed. The shirt is black, with GOLD fonts. (: Please inform Joey whether you wanna order the shirts when you see her, and inform the rest who are unsure about the class tee.
